Jerry Wright

My name is Jerry Wright and I have been in the Title Company Real Estate Business for 24 years. I have 3 wonderful and plenty of fun cats (Moo Moo, Tyga and Vaughanie). Living alone they make my day.

I was born and raised in Pitcairn Pennsylvania and graduated from Gateway Senior High School. I played football and baseball before suffering an injury due to being hit by a car. That got me into looking for a career as playing sports was not an option anymore.

I went to Virginia to visit my mother on a vacation and she opened up to me that she had cancer and asked if I would move there to help her with her needs. That was a definite “Of Course I will Mom!” Unfortunately, she passed away a few years after. I was not sure if I would stay in in Virginia as I did leave all friends from childhood and other family members.

In Virginia I worked a few jobs from restaurants, to retail stores as a customer service until a friend I met in Virginia mentioned a receptionist position at a Title Company she worked at so I applied and was hired. During my time at this firm, my boss asked me if I would be interested in helping post-closing with the recorded documents sending the DOT’s to the Lenders and Deeds to the Buyers. Which eventually led to a full-time position working in the Post-Closing Department. I was then asked by my boss if I was interested in trying pre-processing and processing refinances. So I started that and did for a while and then became a full-time processor doing Refinances and Sales.
